Celebrity dancer, Louis Van Amstel is a Dutch-born ballroom dance champion, professional dancer, choreographer, and a dancesport coach who is best know as a professional dancer on ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars'.

'Dancing With The Stars' partners have included; Bachelorette star, Trista Sutter, hostess Lisa Rinna. actress Monique Coleman, actress, businesswoman, and wife of Elvis Presley Priscilla Presley, reality TV star and singer Kelly Osbourne,' Reno 911!' star Niecy Nash, actress and comedian Margaret Cho. In addition to his work on 'Dancing with the Stars' Louis has also choreographed and appeared on numerous TV shows such as 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody', 'Hannah Montana', and 'All My Children', 'So You Think You Can Dance' and appeared in the season finale of the 'Bachelor Pad' as a dance instructor for a dance competition.

During his time off, Louis supports the Heart Association which addresses obesity and created a dance program "LaBlast", which has recently partnered with CRUNCH, helps contribute to people becoming healthier through dancing in a fun, enjoyable way. Louis has also released an online dance lesson, that can teach you to dance 8 different dances such as salsa, tango, foxtrot, waltz, jive, chacha, and others.

Lois has discovered a passion for hosting, hosting has made him more vocal about his true feelings about issues such as discrimination and bullying. He joined organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign, the NOH8 Campaign, and GLSEN.
